As a child, I always looked forward to dinner time. Not because of the food, but because someone else was cooking it! My mom was an amazing cook, but after a long day at school and extracurricular activities, the last thing I wanted to do was help her in the kitchen. So, I would eagerly wait for her to call us to the table, excited to see what delicious meal she had prepared for us. Looking back, I realise how lucky I was to have someone who cared enough to cook for us every night. It's definitely one of my favourite childhood memories.
